Reports to: Operations Supervisor
Job Description:
- To lead and assist in registering youth for summer camp at Riverwoods.
Qualifications:
- Must have a desire to minister to children in a camp setting consistent with the goals, values and philosophy of Riverwoods.
- Must have an acceptable level of spiritual, mental, social and emotional maturity.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Strong organizational abilities, outgoing, creative and energetic.
- Must have a valid drivers license and a good driving record.
Expectations:
- Follow all guidelines setup by Riverwoods, including the philosophy, goals and objectives of Riverwoods as well as any secondary procedures (dining hall, waterfront, etc.) and instructions.
- Model Christ-likeness in all things.
- Your spiritual and physical health are crucial to your ministry, therefore you are expected to have personal devotions, get 6-8 hours of sleep nightly and participate in all relevant meetings.
- Always be on time. If you are unable to be on time you must make your supervisor aware ahead of time.
- Have fun! Balance organization and spontaneity to create lasting positive memories for staff and campers.
- Assist with program evaluation at the end of each session and at the end of the summer.
- Positively represent Riverwoods in under-resourced communities of the Fox River Valley.
